OXGR1 is gene encoding a protein named xoglutarate Receptor 1 (OXGR1) or G-protein coupled receptor 99 (GPR99) in humans. The Gene has recently been nominated as a receptor not only for 2-oxogluterate but also for the three cysteinyl leukotrienes, particularly leukotriene E4 and to far lesser extents LTC4 and LTE4.
